The lighthouse Lindesnes Fyr

A tourist destination, a museum, an attraction and an experience – both in sunny and stormy weather!

The lighthouse in Lindesnes is located a 30 minutes drive away, and is one of the most popular attractions the area has to offer. The most southern point of Norway is a fantastic place to visit in all kinds of weather, but maybe at its most impressive when the storm rages around it. The lighthouse was built in 1656 as the first one in Norway.

We recommend a visit to the lighthouse after dark – there is something magical about watching the beams of light stretch across the calm, dark sea.
